Our premise

Insight without a method is just a nice conversation. We pair warmth with the mechanism.

Elsewhere

Open-ended venting, week after week

With us

A formulation of what's driving the pattern — and a plan to shift it

Elsewhere

"How does that make you feel?"

With us

How your brain learned it — and the skills to rewire the response

Elsewhere

Generic, one-size-fits-all support

With us

Tools matched to you, drawn from real lived experience

What "precision" means

Four commitments
behind every session.

Therapy should be as rigorous as it is human. These are the principles we hold ourselves to — the difference between feeling heard and actually changing.

01

Lived experience

We've navigated anxiety, depression, burnout and more ourselves. We meet you as someone who has been there — not just read about it.

02

Neuroscience

We explain how your brain learned a pattern, and why neuroplasticity means it can be unlearned. Clarity is its own relief.

03

Evidence-based tools

ACT, DBT, EFT, CBT and IFS — chosen deliberately for your situation, not applied by default. The right tool, at the right moment.

04

Change now

You leave sessions with something to use. We measure progress against the life you want — and adjust until it moves.

The toolkit

Five modalities,
matched to the work.

Each of these is a researched, structured approach. We draw across them rather than forcing one framework to fit every problem.

ACT
Acceptance & Commitment

Loosen the grip of difficult thoughts and act on what matters to you, even when it's uncomfortable.

DBT
Dialectical Behaviour

Concrete skills for intense emotions — distress tolerance, regulation, and steadier relationships.

EFT
Emotion-Focused

Get underneath the reaction to the emotion driving it — and transform it rather than suppress it.

CBT
Cognitive Behavioural

Map the link between thoughts, feelings and behaviour, then rebuild the patterns that keep you stuck.

IFS
Internal Family Systems

Meet the protective “parts” of you and lead them from a calmer, steadier self — no part left behind.

Floyd Kelly he/him
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Retired VP R&D MA Counselling Psych (2026) President, ON-BPD Family Advisory Council, The Royal

After three decades leading global software engineering teams — most recently as VP R&D at Qlik, heading ~140 engineers building analytics used worldwide — Floyd retired to practise as a therapist full-time. His own lived experience with neurodivergent family members, alongside advanced training in BPD, ADHD and autism, drives the work. As President of the Ottawa Network for BPD he leads the Family Connections program for roughly 150 families a year, and sits on the Family Advisory Council at The Royal Ottawa Hospital. He pairs that real-world depth with neuroscience and evidence-based therapy to help you discover how your brain works — and find hope through clarity of purpose and freedom of action.

It's a great day for a breakthrough. Floyd's mantra

Maeve Howard she/her
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
BA · MACP (in progress) CRPO Registered CCPA Member

Maeve — "like wave with an M" — has spent years in non-profit and healthcare settings, learning that healing is not linear. She leaves assumptions at the door and lets you lead, because you are the expert on your own experience. Her work comes from a place of warmth, empathy and a sense of humour: no toxic positivity, just a willingness to sit with you — even alongside your darkest thoughts — and find the light through the dark.

I want to be the kind of person my younger self needed. Maeve, in her own words
